Update: Calories-Weightloss-Exercise

I've had request to what I've been doing more in depth. With that said what works for me isn't guaranteed to work for you.

I get all of my informations from research and the wonderful ladies off of Myfitnesspal.com. I highly recommend joining if you are serious about getting in shape and being healthy.

I am not only trying to loose weight anymore. I am getting into shape. The number on the scale is just a number. The more it goes down yes I get happy but I am still not happy with the shape of my body.

I am suppose to intake 1200 calories a day. Sounds easy enough right? Ha!!
One you have to eat 1200 healthy calories not just crap. I am NOT a person who likes to eat. Which is funny Because I have the extra pounds.

Well for days I've been trying my hardest to meet my goal of 1200 but I haven't been able too. Yesterday I ate 490 something calorie but burned 690 something working out... Sounds awesome right. Well it's not...

When we under eat, we have a pretty nifty survival mechanism that kicks in.

The body actually thinks that there is a food shortage and the very few calories that you do eat will be stored as fat because your body thinks that it needs those calories for survival later.

We need a certain amount of calories every day just to survive.

To me there is no possible way I could eat enough healthy foods to hit my daily goal.. So I've turned to shakes..

(no i not talking about slim fast shakes, I'm talking protein shakes)

Shakes are used to be drank instead of eating a meal. Make sure you read the back of them. If it doesn’t contain at least 230 calories then it is not enough to sustain you as a meal.

I ended up picking (it was also recommended to me) Myoplex original

Protein, g : 42 84.

I also purchased Powerbars. They actually taste AMAZING they also give me about 220 calories in one bar!

With both of these I am having a Easier time hitting my 1200 goal..

Now the question is. Are we suppose to eat our calories burned back? The health experts say YES you are suppose to eat most of them back (healthy foods) this is something I have not tried for the fact that I haven't even been able to successfully eat the recommended amount of calories before the ones I burned.

Exercising.

I use to be the person that gave a million an one excuses as to why I didn't have time or energy to do it. I finally had to stop making excuses for myself and just get up and do it.

So I did!

We've started out with Zumba two on wii. At first it was hard to keep up and to not want to stop. The first time... I stopped.. A lot haha.
I then decided to push myself. The songs are about 4 mins long and you have a very short time in between them. I pushed myself hard through each song. I didn't let the burn in my legs make me stop or the sharp pain in my abs make me slow down. I do it at full force for 4 mins and when the song is over I take a breath and take a drink and the next one starts! I've finally worked my way up to about an hour! Which to me is a huge accomplishment!

I love Zumba. I recommend it to anyone who is starting out. But I am starting to add other work outs to it. Right now I'm looking into jillian michaels 30 day shred but haven't decided if that's the one I will be choosing.

This is what I've been/am currently doing. It takes determination and you have to actually want to do it. I've started to get fit a few times in the last year but I always just gave half instead of my everything. I'm tired of wanting and I'm ready to grab what I want.

(pictures) pants I bought two weeks ago and were tight. I have only lost 6 pounds but my clothes are showing most of the results
Also these are the products I'm using so maybe they will be easier or you to spot.
